Lumitec Underwater Lights

My boat has a big swim platform on the back that can be lowered from deck to water level and I think it would be nice to sit on it and watch fish at night and would also be nice to have indirect light while boarding dinghy. So I’m considering adding 2 Lumitec mini’s abeam the rudder post about 1’ outboard on both sides. The minis claim to put out about 1000 lumens and come in either white or blue (less lumens). Does anyone have experience with these lights or others that they’d recommend? If you have experience with the Lumitec minis, do you think they’d be adequate to see fish down beneath my rudder? Would you recommend white or blue light? I’m leaning towards white but know nothing about underwater light effects so am open to input from anyone with underwater light experience.

I saw a beautiful Hylas 57 anchor close to me a few weeks ago and they had blue lights...looked great.

I found the macrisindustries.com site and they look interesting too. I like how they use 4200 rather than screws to hold them in place. Will investigate further.

CAELISTIS, I found the macris industries utube video of their hammer test where they are repeatedly beating on one of their illuminated underwater lights with a sledgehammer and it doesn’t even flicker! Impressive!

There you go! And they are only .29 inches thick so they won’t slow you down.
