Low draw fm radio

My current Dual marine am/fm radio draws 0.9 amps whether it is on or off(actually,it doesn't have off, only standby). The only way to stop the drain is to turn off at circuit breaker. I want to replace this unit with a more efficient model. Does anyone have suggestion? Thanks, Tom

Re: Low draw fm radio

It may have some wires just to power volatile memory, so you could use it fine by cutting power from circuit breaker (like in a car, when you take off contact).
