LOST in the FCC website! MAYDAY! MAYDAY!

I'm totally lost navigating the website of the FCC....... and I need help..

Here is the problem:
-I just got an SSB install in my boat
-wrongly I filed for a Station authorization at the same time as the Restricted Operator permit. In fact I already had a Station authorization still valid with call sign and MMSI
-so now I have 2 Station Authorizations for one boat. My mistake no big deal apart from some money spent for nothing So I decided to keep the original one as the MMSI number are already programmed in the VHF and AIS
-so far so good , simple

BUT: I cannot find a way to cancel the new Authorization on line. I'm going all over the web site and don't find how and where I have to cancel an Authorization .

Somebody able to help me and get me out of here?

The FCC sites are very easy to get lost in. It happened to me a couple months ago and I finally gave up and called the help number. AMAZINGLY, it was answered very quickly by a person who knew a lot about all FCC requirements and forms. She squared everything away after asking just a couple of highly relevant questions of me. Some of the best customer/technical support I have had from one of the most surprising places - a government bureaucracy!

If only she wrote their website...

+1 for talking to the FCC. They quickly sorted out my MMSI after I had been wrongly seduced by the BoatUS MMSI offering. All BoatUS has to do is say plainly, do not use this if you have an SSB or travel in foreign waters. The FCC telephone help was quick and courteous. I think they must have an awesome data base with fast access. Something I don't want tot hink too much about.

Very helpful and efficient
I got a lady who will send me how to cancel a license by email I have to do it my self on line (security measures)

Summary* : Filing Instructions - Application
Solution Details : 1) FILING CANCELLATION OF LICENSE

A cancellation is the rescinding of an existing license at the request of the
licensee. Reasons for canceling a license include:
1) If the licensee has ceased operations and turns in its license
2) If you sell your ship/vessel (you can not transfer ship station
license to another person or ship)

In the ULS database, the license status code is changed from 'A' (active) to
'C' (canceled). Note: a license can be automatically canceled in the case where
a licensee fails to meet its debt obligations to the U.S. Government with
respect to an auctioned license. We strongly encourage all applicants to file
electronically.

Filing a Cancellation (CA):

Access Universal Licensing System (ULS) via the website: http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls
.
Log in with your FCC Registration Number (FRN) and password.
Click the call sign you wish to cancel displayed under My Licenses.
Select ?Cancel? in the Work On This License box.
Answer the Applicant Questions and then click ?Continue? to navigate through
the filing.
The Summary page will allow you to review and edit your application. Click
?Continue to Certify?.
Review the certification statements and sign your application by typing your
name in the appropriate box.
Submit your application. We recommend that you print a copy of the
Application.
No application or regulatory fees are required.





2) REQUESTING REFUND

To request a refund of fees for a dismissed application please follow the
checklist below to ensure that you have provided all necessary information:


Applicant Mailing Address
Applicant Name
FCC Registration Number (FRN)
Check Number (if applicable)
Radio Service
Call Sign (if applicable)
Date Application was filed
Amount of Refund being requested
Copy of dismissal letter (if applicable)
Detailed Reason for the Refund request
Refunds are reviewed by the Commission on a case-by-case basis in accordance
with Rule Sections 1.1113 and 1.1160. We can not predict the amount of the
refund, nor if the refund will be issued. Although Application fees are not
normally refunded, it is within a licensee?s rights to request a refund.
Requests for refund of a fee paid to the FCC must be made in writing to:
