I install a lot of them in land based scenarios. And with a systems critical thing like power. It's one thing I won't be saving money on.
Have a look at studer inverter, they are even better. Developed and made in switzerland with military grade pcb boards and the same torodial transformer used in the 3,5kw studer is used in the 5kw Victrons...more overhead and surge plus they work due to their specs from -10 till +50 degree celcius without derating like Victrons.
Additional my victron humms and make all sorts of noises especially in low load mode plus one has 45W standby. Will soon go dual volatge banks 12/24V and 2 Victron 12V inverters will be replaced by 2x 24V studer inverters (already at my parents house and and in a setup test environment) which are much quiter and only use 1x18W standby (the one switches the other on) but have 2x3,5kw constant/9kw peak while victron just 2x2,4kw/5,5kw peak with 2x45W standby (both in parallel need to be on).
Noise is important as the inverters are located in a cabinet at the end of my owners cabin and only the cabinet door isolates the noises when i sleep. No problem when cooking and they are heavly loaded as i am not in the cabin anyhow.

Regarding oven/microwave:
My absolute favorite and 3 buddy boats of mine installed already (one a mono gimbaled in a stainless steel U) and made the admiral very happy...happy wife happy life

https://www.panasonic.com/de/consume...nn-cs89lb.html

870Euro but perfect for a boat, width also makes it fit in a lot monos, just place it in a U tray thats gimbaled. On a cat no need for cabinetry, just place it on standing where it fits but it also can be build in (not many can be done this due to ventialtion issues, this one works). Will replace mine when it dies with this model.

Now do dishwashers, please. (:

I have one, but it's inefficient. I haven't installed it yet.

I cook a lot and have little glass pyrex dishes for freezing portions.

I'm drowning in dirty dishes all the time.

Note: I quoted the wrong post of yours. Was trying to quote the big analysis of the washing machines and all of that

Actually next i do. We are just 2 and washing dishes for 2 after every meal is water waste...so they stand around for 2-3days and then done all at once or the admiral gets the cleaning flash and 20l of water are used for 4 plates 2 cups and cuttlery...sucks and make the salon look like a mess. We normally cook all 2-3 days and more for the next days...pans and pots won't fit into it and thats also uneconomical, this we wash by hand right away.

A mini dishwasher is much more economic in this setup for 2 and i admit hate washing dishes. So dishes from 2-3 days going in, run all 2-3 days and all is looking clean.
Gas oven out as its replaced by above Panasonic, mini dishwasher in :-)

@Chotu: why is it inefficent? Prooven fact a dishwasher saves a lot water. The small one is good for dishes, pans or pots when you are cooking a lot are too big for it so you might need a full sized one, well doesn't fit in my Lavezzi (old school rounded interieur) and also not needed. I prefer to install 3 extra drawers and the mini dishwasher

Re: Longevity of standard electronics?

It used to be that wave action were bad for hard disk drives (HDD) in laptops, they warped under Coriolis acceleration and wore out both the heads and the disk. However this no longer is a problem with the newer solid state drives (SSD) as they don't have any spinning disk.

Another manufacturer want USD7000.00 for the optional Teak cockpit table.

If that's how much buyers are being lashed on a washing machine, I dread to think what's going on with the standard equipment and the build?

What do you folks do about this. Any advice? I was hoping to buy a new boat but it's very quickly looking like good second hand it is!

Cheers Dave
Our washing machine was £120 from Amazon. Its plastic, won't rust and light weight. The little portable Alpicool freezer £200. The rest of that list we certainly don't need or want. Cockpit table came from grannies house after she passed, folds and tucks away in the stern cabin. Perfect
