No problem, there is (was?) a dedicated B&G model. As I have a rotating mast I use the RM junction box, built in nmea2000 + barometer and mast rotation sensor connection. The rotation sensor is another $-hungry investment, but works fine together, better than my old Raymarine stuff. Had a PB200 before, but sensors died, compass & gps still working.

The nice thing about the CV7 is it comes mounted on a 15-18 inch wand. If you line that up with a straight edge to be dead straight forward, it will be good to go. I have to zero calibration with mine and the tack angles on a beat from port to starboard look symmetric.

Looking that manual... if you have issue it looks like their is addition SW from the company. Here is the a snippet from the manual:

"The sensor’s fine alignment will be obtained with the
calibration functions of your instrumentation. Should it be
needed LCJ Capteurs can provide a’ software calibration
application upon request."

My unit has functioned perfect and I would buy again.

Probably any nmea winddisplay will do. You do not program anything in your display, it is only used for what it is, a display. For instance, you want to correct the alignment of you windsensor, there is a multi step selector switch in the connection box, you set the appropriate symbol, see an information on your display and calibrate using 2 pushbuttons in the connection box. It is really easy once you know. I had an early version of the manual with a very important setting missing: how to reset the whole thing! The rotating mast box has a few settings more ;-)

Thank you,
JIM
