Is there such thing as a boat 'outfitter' in Annapolis?

I am getting ready to outfit my Hylas 54 for international cruising. I am going to be in Annapolis this summer and would like to work with a consultant/vendor that can recommend :

1) weather software for SSB and satellite downloading

2) Wind generator info

3) Battery setup

4) Satellite phone options

5) SSB instruction

Since we will be in Annapolis for 6 weeks, I'd like to do it all at the same time from someone that can take the lead on all projects. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Hinckley have a service and maintenance yard in Annapolis and do work for any brand of boat. Google Hinckley Annapolis and you will find it.

Since all of your needs are electrical and electronic, talk to John at Mercke Marine at Port Annapolis boatyard. Thay are a full service shop independent of the marina.

Two opinions:
Hinckley service in this area is C-
Y.E.S. (yacht electronic systems) is a one man operation that is very sought after. Andy Fagley (not sure on the spelling) is the best boat electric system engineer between here and Ft Lauderdale. Schedule soon and you will be pleased. Call any electronic supplier in the Annapolis area and they can give you contact information.

Bill Trayfors, a member of this forum, is an expert and also supplier and installer (I think) and lives in the Cheasapeake area.

I second the Merke Marine recommendation. He's a contractor here at Port Annapolis which means he has access to slips at a nice marina. Port A also has riggers, mechanical and yard services so you can work everything into one bill.
Good Luck!

All of the vendors are listed here: PortBook | The Marine Services Directory

My systems are simple, so I can't make a recommendation on your systems. Best of luck!
