I'm looking for recommendations on a
iPhone (IOS) vessel Log Book. For it to meet my needs, it should accomplish the following:
1. Trip Logging - Dates:
engine hours start/finish, origin,
destination, crew, comments, ...
2. Inventory of
equipment - make, model,
serial #,
service notes
3. Regular maintenance/supplies - Dates/hours:fuel,
water, key stores, spare
parts on board
4. Engine/system
maintenance - Dates/hours:Actions (repair/replace/service) organized for quick identification of related
service
I'm guessing that someone (much brighter than me) has gone through the organization and logging of key data to make this a simple, but thorough log with the least amount of typing - as making a text entry is not very easy on an
iPhone. I do have an
iPad and Mac computer, but those aren't always available for data entry - but it could be very useful to be able to access this data from a cloud repository.
