I used an Iridium Openport system from San Diego to Australia for daily email and file transfer to my office (18 months), as well as for Grib files. It worked flawlessly. I just listed it in the for sale section.

I used a Telaurus sim card and bought airtime from them. Their compression and filtering software makes it more affordable, but I did not surf the web.
