Installing Iridum 9505a Modem?
I have an Iridium 9505a with data kit. I have installed the driver to the serial-usb converter. But I don't get any "found new hardware" for the Iridium modem. I don't have a simcard in the phone yet. I'm just trying to prepare it for my upcoming voyage.

Does the phone has limited functionality if no sim card is installed?
