.INF Chart Reader for Mac?

A PC user just gave us a stick loaded with navigational charts. They have a .INF suffix.

Do any of you know what app would open these on a Mac? I'm looking at the demo version of MacENC, and that doesn't do it.

Re: .INF chart reader for Mac?

Where are the charts for? If US waters then don't bother with the questionable inf files as the most current NOAA RNC and ENC charts can be downloaded for free. The ReadMe in the MacENC download describes how to download them.

Re: .INF chart reader for Mac?

No- charts are for the Rest of the World.

We just got to Central America, and are realizing how limited the chart resources are. We have the Navionics chip for the area on a Raymarine plotter, Navionics app. for iPad, PolarView with all available ChartWorld charts- and still, the lack of detail is scary.

Other cruisers are happy to share their charts with us, but they are PC based.
