iNavX question rote information on instrument bar

I am trying to show route information across the bar at the top of the iPad. I am able to go to the instrument drop down an show vessel name, log, lat, and a few other pieces of information. What I want is specific route information
Distance to next waypoint, time of arrival, ect. There are the appropriate on off buttons in the instrument setup, although they don't show on the data bar like vessel name, lat, Lon. Do I need to turn something on somewhere else. I looked under guide/instrument and did not find anything that helps.
I expect operator error. Anyone able to help? Thanks

Re: iNavX question rote information on instrument bar

You need to activate a waypoint within iNavX if I understand your question. The DTW, XTE etc light up then. Are you trying to get INavX to capture this info from an external plotter?

Re: iNavX question rote information on instrument bar

I am using only xNavX. Not capturing the information from an outside source.

Truemettle, how do you activate a waypoint?

I have the route loaded into the charts. Have a few items designated in the instruments drop down. Items identifiedI - distance to next waypoint, time to next waypoint, and total time to end waypoint.

Trying to have this information show up on the instruments bar at the top of the chart. Thanks, Dave

Re: iNavX question rote information on instrument bar

1 pick all your waypoints along your trip
2 select route from bottom of screen, name the route, go back to map screen
3 build your route by adding the waypoints, double click on each one and add to route
4 go back to route at bottom of screen and select go to. Route info will now appear in the instrument bar.
You will have BTW, DTW, ETA, TTG, VMG, WPN, XTE, DTR, RTN, TMR and TOA.

Bearing to waypoint
Distance to waypoint
Estimated time to arrival,
Time to go,
Velocity made good,
Waypoint name
Cross track error
Distance to route
Route name
Time to route
Time overall

If you tap time to route, or time overall, you can manually advanced your go to waypoint.
