In older Versions of
OpenCPN 
I never had problems to
import into
OpenCPN a .gpx file with a track, generated by my
Raymarine MFDs. Now in version 5.6.2 my attempts are ignored
without error message, no matter if it's an old track from the e7 MFD (Lighthouse 3) or a recent one from an Axiom+ 9 (Lighthouse 4.3.42). Other track sources like
Garmin GPSmap76
work fine
. Does somebody know what has changed in the meantime in OpenCPN? I suspect the missing timestamps in the track files generated by
Raymarine to cause this issue. Is there a workaround to convert the tracks by adding dummy timestamps somehow? Or even better - can I expect Raymarine to fix that? It would be helpful being able to reconstruct a trip after a few years by looking at the timestamps, also for
legal purposes.
