Icom M700 SSB Worth ?

I'm debating upgrading from my M700 SSB to an M802, and part of the equation is what the M700 is worth on the used market. It would include an AT-120 tuner as well.

My other option is just keep it, and connect the new Pactor modem to my 706MkII ham radio. It's opened up to xmit on all HF freqs, but it wouldn't be legal to use it on the marine SSB freqs for Sailmal...

If you have a ham radio and a ham license, why would you use Sailmail anyway? You have to pay a monthly fee for Sailmail, don't you? Use Winlink. Once you've paid for the expensive hardware, it's free... Winlink 2000 | Global Radio Email System

Winlink and amateur radio in general is only for non-commercial use. If you are doing anything commercial (i.e. work email) you need to go the Sailmail route.

Whatever you decide to do, I'd be interested in taking either the 700 or prefferably the 706 of your hands. Send me a PM when you're ready.
