How to connect Em-Trak B954 and Raymarine i70s

Hello,

Please find as attachment a diagram of my autopilot installation on my Bavaria 36 cruiser.

On the i70s, in the System Set-up->Data Sources->Time and Date menu my Em-Trak B954 appears and can be selected.
In the System Set-up->Data Sources->GPS Position menu my Em-Trak B954 isn't displayed and the coordinates and AIS informations provided by the Em-Trak B954 connected with a proper NMEA 2000 cable aren't displayed on the i70s.

I checked the correct functioning of the Em-Trak B954 with proAIS2.

I would be grateful for any help.

Best regards.

I would not rely on the Ais for sending Gps position. it's not even really supposed to be sharing gps data but some do. you should add an actual stng gps antenna. or better yet add a chart plotter with gps.

I had a similar issue and had to turn on GPS sentences in the ProAIS configuration page.

Hello,

Thank you very much indeed for your help.

To solve this issue tick the 3 boxes in the "Output GNSS Sentences", see screenshots.

Best regards.
