How Do You Use an iPad with The Alfa 1000

Considering the ipad has no usb port, how or could, an Alfa 1000 work with it? Could you just connect the Alfa to a wireless router? Is there another solution for long distance internet on the ipad? My eyes are glazed over from trying to figure this out. Thanks in advance...

You need to use an access point to create a wifi network on your boat. Then you need a Wireless bridge to connect your network to other wifi networks. Search these forums for "Bullet" and you'll find threads on all manor of off-the-shelf solutions as well as how to roll your own.
