Hidden Standard Horizon Fuse

Just a heads-up to others... When my RAM3 mike had a water intrusion problem, I contacted Standard Horizon support. Service was great!

Did you know that there is a fuse in the radio that can blow if the Ram3 mike is plugged in with the radio on???? Since I upgraded to this radio last year, the routine was to fire up the nav instruments and radio, turn on the GPS, and plug in the remote mike. Apparently I was lucky not to blow the fuse...

THIS IS THE WORST PART... the fuse is internal and not a user replaceable part. .

What model radio is it or is SH saying all of their VHFs have the problem?

And it might be a pain but unless the fuse is potted in with a bunch of stuff I'm pretty sure I could replace it.
