HA102 Matsutec - transmit mode

Ive been given a relatively new HA102 which I want to programme to use on a Rib / tender. I changed the mmsi to
Our main boat and have been experimenting.

I’ve spent a while with it. But I’m confused by the startup data from the NMEA port. It says it’s in SOTDMA mode, a mode I didn’t think the Ha102 has?

Other than that, it’s hardly ever transmitting, even though it’s got a strong gps fix and all the data is in. Any ideas how to explore hidden features in the firmware? Is there a hidden silent function? I’ve updated screen

I can see, occasionally a blip on vessel finder with all the details, but then nothing for hours. Other yachts in the marina see the initial tx, but it’s shown as greyed out . Lucky to get one transmission an hour.

Press the emergency button and it will transmit away a sar signal…
