I think it is mainly lack of controls on the side, and over here about 500 dollar on the price, so maybe some simpler electronics?
I think it might be ok for starters in our cruiser. And of course some connectivity :-)

It seems that there is fewer Connections, it lacks ability to run video. Kinda like an A series from Raymarine.
