Garmini gwind wireless masthead unit

Hi
I have a B&G chartplotter and wish to know if I fitted a Garmini gwind wireless
masthead unit would it work with my B&G chart plotter? It does state that the Garmini runs NMEA2000. Bit of a novice ref NMEA .Are all instruments that run
NMEA 2000 compatible with each other or is that applicable to only their own brands. My reason is , is that I can obtain a Garmini unit for £440 sterling as opposed to £750 for a B&G wind instrument and B&g to my knowledge do not do a wireless version.Hope the more tech minded can help

I have the Nexus Wired wind version (GWind Race) with a Nexus FDX server. I added the Garmin GND10 so it connects the Nexus bus to the NMEA 2000 bus. The GND 10 is what Garmin uses with the wireless wind also. The wind data is passed just fine from the GND10 to the NMEA 2000 bus. I get wind data on a B&G Triton T41 display and on my Raymarine e125, all on the NMEA 2000 bus. So yes - this should work for you.
