has ANYBODY had any success using their Garmin video cable as a repeater on their LCD display or computer monitor?

yes I have , but you have to match the resolution of the display to what Garmin can handle, sorry not near my boat and cant remember the exact settings

Hi Dave. Thank you for replying. We're plugging ours into remote indoor tv display and can't get ours to work. We Contacted Garmin and Insignia and they have no answers why it's not working. The display can handle the Garmin's output resolution.

Did you have any problems? Did you use a VGA extension cable or a signal converter box?
Is your display a computer monitor or a tv monitor, a brand name would help.

We are going to purchase a new display to see if that will solve the problem. Perhaps getting the same one you have will help.
