Anyone getting "cannot unlock maps" on start up? Garmin says there's some sort of systemic problem!?

Not me, but then I haven't updated the software for a long time (it's version 5.40 - no idea what the current version is).

V6.30 works for me.

Garmin "support" says this is a known problem with no solution and no remedy other than to try to return to retailer.

Yep...I have the same issue, but I just hit "Enter" and it proceeds to open up map and seems to work fine. I will say, however, that the only chart I've used is the standard Garmin bluechart that came preloaded.
