Garmin GPSMAP 235 Sounder problem
I have this unit to fix for a friend. When the power button is pressed, the welcome page appears momentarily but then it turns off. I can hold down the enter button when powering up to enter maintenance mode and in this mode it stays on. I have changed the battery, which was flat. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If there are any options in the maintenance menu to reinstall the firmware it might be worth a try.
