Garmin g2 Vision Card

I want to buy a Garmine g2 Vision card. (Vus 517L)
They are $428 from Garmin but they are as cheap as $55 on Ebay.
Does anyone know why I shouldn't buy the Ebay kind? There are numerous other sites where they are significantly cheaper than Garmin.

Just be sure that your device accepts that type card - and - you get the unlock or access code so you can use the maps stored on it.

We bought a bunch on amazon for a fraction of new price. Most used ones you cant get updates but they were great anyways
