Garmin and OpenCPN

I need some advice on working OpenCPN with a Garmin 492. I am using Windows 7. I can create a route but can't transfer to Garmin. Any advice?

Try using garmin propriety comm scheme instead of nema. It's worked for me.

Is that change made in the Garmin or computer?
