Furuno Chart Plotter Screen Issue

Hello,

I have a Furuno 1824c chart plotter. After a year on the hard, the screen has developed a large red square blocking the charts behind the red square. You can see bubbles like shapes in the red square. The electronics are working as you can see charts and digital numbers on the edges around the red square. I've attached a picture to help understand the issue.

Anyone seen this and if so, how did you fix the screen?
