Electrical Panel Advice Needed

I can not find any threads related so here goes.

I am in need of a new electrical panel for my 41 Morgan. Naturally, I want it all...good quality, reasonable price, lots of circuts. What mfgs have folks had good experiences using? Likely more importantly, who should I not use due to quality/price/product support etc.?
I need DC and AC, will be running up to 500watts of solar and have a "reasonable" size of batteries. I'll use a Honda backup generator/dockside only AC, but lots of "deck queen" type accessories. One panel might be best but since I'm building the backing board for the panels, I can use seperate components if it makes sense. ??? Thank you.

Re: Electrical Panel Advice Needed

Paneltronics, Blue Sea and Newmar are three manufacturers who come to mind.

That's what I did. You CANNOT make one cheaper than you can buy one.

Blue Sea has new modular system that you can use to design your own system.

If I designed my own, the font size would be about 4 times BIGGER,
can't read sheee-it anymore without glasses, and don't want to need them in an urgent-cy.

Re: Electrical Panel Advice Needed

I just did a bunch of searching and drooling and Blue Sea seems to have the product flexibility to build what ever you want.

I did not elect (or afford) new panel switches but they have some nice looking gear.

Re: Electrical Panel Advice Needed

I have used Bass electrical, Bass Products Bass Electrical Panels a couple of times and found them to be very helpful and a bit cheaper than Blue Sea. And tech support was excellent
