Course Computer

Ok, I have an old Raymarine Course Computer type 400
it has sea talk and all the instruments are tied together

Well..... the computer got wet and has died so we have lost all the instruments as well. Anyone know where you could find another computer (tried Ebay/Amazon) or how do you "straight wire" our instruments so we have wind/depth/speed without having the autopilot?

If you're willing to cut a SeaTalk cable, red to +12V, screen/shield to -12V, yellow is the data line - don't connect to power supply.

Check eBay. The now old SmartPilot computers should be compatible with the type 400. I replaced my type 400 with a S3 computer 12 years ago. Then reconfigure your SeaTalk network so your other instruments do not depend on the course computer.
