Connecting a GPS to a cockpit repeater

Hi Everyone
This is my first time to post on this forum.

I hope someone out there can enlighten me on my problem

I have an MLR FX312 GPS and have recently purchased a Nasa Clipper GPS cockpit repeater
Having connected them together as per the manual all I get on the repeater is "No GPS Signal"
The repeater needs NMEA 183 V2.0 at 4800 baud and message types RMB, RMC and GSA to fulfil all the repeater functions.
Acording to the GPS user manual it is NMEA183 V2.0 at 4800 baud and I have entered the correct sentences.
I also think my wiring is ok,
On the repeater there are three wires, Red +12v, Black Negative, and Blue NMEA Data
On the GPS there are seven wires, Red +12v, Blue Negative, Purple Reference RS422 (NMEA OUT), Yellow Output RS422 (NMEA OUT), Green Reference RS232, Black Input RS232, and White Output RS232.
I have connected both red wires to my +12Volt supply, Black Negative, Blue Negative and Purple Reference RS422 (NMEA OUT) to my Negative 12Volt supply and the Blue NMEA Data to the Yellow Output RS422.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I have spent hours on it and I'm getting nowhere.

Any information or help would be great

Thanks

John..

Try the white NMEA output and green reference to repeater
