Compasses

Hi
If I buy a Raymarine auto pilot with the EV-1 Sensor, will my Zeus3 use the heading and positioning information from the EV-1 through the NMEA 2000 net? Do I still need to get a Precision 9 Sensor or will it be redundant with the EV-1?
Thanks

Should be fine, my Zeus picks up all the 3rd party NMEA 2000 gear no problem.

Re: Compasses

Check so you can do the calibration of the Raymarie AP with the Zeuss.
If you have a Zeuss mfd why not choose a B&G NAC2 or 3 autopilot?

He will calibrate it with the pilot screen.
