Looks like T-Mobile ONE is effectively all their services included, which includes tethering (at 3G),
partnership with GoGo for free inflight (I've used it, it's good), and international coverage.

As for
hardware, they've got good offerings. But I only
research flagship phones and it sounds like that's not what you're interested in. I would recommend the Galaxy S7 Active, but I just read some reports that it somehow doesn't
work great on T-Mobile. I find that hard to believe. The S8 Active is on pre-order tomorrow, apparently.
