Can anyone tell us what this Authohelm thing is ?

I have been cleaning out our stash of gear since selling our Adams35. This item surfaced and I am wondering if it is a fluxgate compass, an audio alarm, or ???

How about a tape & dim's? Sort of looks like a compass but the wires are too big. May be a claxon. No maker's brag tag or other text?

I think its a siren for an alarm. I googled the part # and a german alarm company came up.

Thanks - I decided to test that theory of yours. I hooked the red and black wired up to the battery. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Yes, it is a loud alarm, very very loud !

Sounds like it would make a great bilge alarm or even an unauthorised boarder alarm. I'll take two.!!!!
