It did work with the VDO SingleViu gauge.

However I think my baffles are too close (the docs say 150mm and I am at 120mm) so the tank level tended to fluctuate a bit (water was dead calm).

So although it works, I am looking at a different solution - probably Oceanic Systems N2K sender which can easily be calibrated for weird tank shapes in my Raymarine Axiom LH3 chart plotter.
