Looking for an online link to an operator manual for the Cetec Benmar Course Setter 21R Autopilot. Too cheap to pay the $22.00 plus shipping to Benmar. Thanks.

Did you ever get one? If it is electronic I could use it. If you can scan it great. Either way, I hope I can get it.

Haven't been able to find a manual. The compass appears to be shot and the rudder feedback is questionable. The pump works with the remote steering so I think I would rather spend a grand on a new non Benmar control head than pay these uncooperative SOBs $30.00 for a book, and then whatever they decide they want for repairs. When I do, I will post again to see if anyone wants my discarded control head, compass, and feedback units.

For what it's worth, I changed out the old Benmar auto helm. I replaced it with a new Garmin hydraulic drive. I am beyond happy, no more turning the compass knob to set the course! No wondering all over the lake.

I have set the new unit at 20% economy setting and it still steers better!
