Battery-Operated VHF

Im looking for a VHF battery operated....not rechargeable, such that if the complete boat electrics went down one could still have a VHF by inserting batteries.

thanks

My Standard Horizon handheld has the option to use NiCad rechargeables OR regular AA alkalines. Two different battery holders were supplied with the radio.

some of the new ICOM's also offer the option of alternative battery holders for rechargables or alkalines
