Battery Charger Failure

Hi Guys,
My truecharge2 40 has stopped working and was wondering if you could advise me as to buying another xantrax or a different brand?

Re: Battery Charger Failure

I would get a different brand. Have had quite a few failures with Zantrax products and their customer service sucks.

Second this. Have not had recent personal experience with Xantrex (I changed brands a while back) but see a lot of complaints on this and other forums.

You might want to consider Victron, Sterling or Mastervolt brands. For a less expensive, no frills but reliable charger an IOTA is a good option. I have one that I keep as a backup for my Victron.

Re: Battery Charger Failure

I have replaced a lot of xantrax true charge 2's. they seem to last about a year. where as the old 1's still go strong...

I've been installing the pro mariner ProNauticP chargers for the past year without issue.
