Boat name and other data burst is sent at a much longer interval than the basic heading, speed & MMSI burst. If your signal got weak (bad
antenna, bad cable, blown transmitter, etc.) then your data frame may not be making it to MarineTraffic.
Do nearby boats get your name eventually? if they do, or if they have to be very close to get it, then the problem is your AIS transmitter/feedline/antenna. If they don't , but they do get your number and heading/speed reliably, then your AIS has some sort of data issue.
