B&G Wireless Windpack

Hello all,

I am considering purchasing the B&G product shown below. It shows a WS 320 interface dome. I am currently on the phone with B&G tech support with the simple question "where does the dome get mounted?"

Does it go on the deck?

Does it go down below under a settee as close to the centerline as possible?

Do you guys know? This seems like a simple question.

I'm not trying to build some NMEA interface. All I want is a wireless wind, speed and depth.

I can get this at wholesale (same price as the Raymarine wireless) But I thought it would be more straightforward than this.
