I am trying to connect my Zeus 2 MFD to the
internet to download Predictwind GRIB files automatically.
I have gone through the process of connecting in client mode via tethering to my mobile
phone, including using valid passwords.
On the
phone, I can see the
B&G has tethered properly. However, on the MFD stays in the interim "Connecting to Android Anthony" (my phone) process.
Testing using the
B&G store on the MFD says no
internet connection. The GRIB files don't download either.
I have had no problem tethering other devices to my phone. I also tried another Android phone.
I have no problem using "Access point mode" to connect tablets, so the WIFI-1 is working
No joy - am I missing something fundamental?
