Not sure why installing
AIS would stop
wind data.
These sorts of problems are often due to unintentional changes made whilst doing the last upgrade eitheer
hardware,
software or both.
Wind information will come from the WS* unit usually at the
mast head.
The Triton has the capability to display the information as does the Vulcan.
Composite Wind is one of the default pages set on a Triton.
The page options are editable and selectable.
There is a limit to the number of pages that can be displayed.
Make sure composite Wind is one of the listed pages.
On the Vulcan under network there will be a devices menu.
Ensure the wind instrument is listed - rescan if required.
Take note of it's unique identifier.
If not showing check connections.
If it is showing it is possible to view the data stream on the Vulcan to check it is outputting data.
Under data sources - wind, select the wind instrument matching the Unique ID you noted.
Download the user manual from
B&G.
It will have pictures and descriptions of the somewhat arcane menus.
Let us know how you get on
Cheers
