No, you need a heading sensor
that updates 10 times per second (10Hz). Most autopilots have that same requirement so if itís on the same nmea
network, youíre good to go.
I use a Maretron and Airmar heading sensor
on my B&G radar/plotter as well on the B&G autopilot.
