B&G or Garmin?

I have a Garmin plotter and a B&G/Simrad (same company you know) AP. I interfaced them all on a common NMEA2000 bus and they work together flawlessly and seamlessly.

I can set a waypoint on the Garmin and the Simrad will navigate to it. The Garmin takes its heading from the B&G AP compass. All good.

Same here. 10 year-old Garmin plotters, pre-Navico B&G instruments and AP, old Furuno analog radar, Icom radio. Have had some problems along the way, but nothing to do with syncing.
