Does any know where I might be able to buy a paddle wheel for my Autohelm Bidata speed transducer? Thanks

Re: Autohelm Bidata paddle wheel

I've not found paddle wheels themselves, but it's unusual for them to be the problem. Trace to the end of the wire (usually at the instrument end) and you'll find the airmar part number. Go to their website for the replacement. I had trouble with mine and bought the entire sender unit with wire for under us$100 locally, now working beautifully.

Thanks for the info but my signal is fine my paddle wheel cracked in half. I should have mention that in the original post. I also use the new Raymarine i40 bidata unit with the Autohelm transducers with seatalk works great.

Raymarine should have a kit available with new paddle wheel and shaft and also O-rings from memory.

Raymarine uses Airmar transducers. And yes, paddlewheels break all of the time. You can get replacement paddlewheels from Airmar - do a search on the Airmar site for your Raymarine part number to get the Airmar part number, then look for the replacement paddlewheels.
