AUTOHELM 4000

Hello Fellow Boaters,
This is my first Forum attempt, anyway......
I am looking for a Autohelm 4000 Tiller Pilot.
I would purchase individual Instruments or Complete, used or new units.
I know they are discontinued however I would like to have spares, just encase.

Hi Klaus - welcome to the forum.

May I suggest that you, at the least, include WHERE you are located in your profile? This may help some of the responders direct you to a location that is close to you. If you are in Germany, it wouldn't do you much good if someone suggested you drop down to Auckland and see someone who has some parts.

Hi Klaus,

Welcome. My first stop would be E-Bay. I have a search for Autohelm and there is always items that turn up. People sometimes list items under Raymarine or Raytheon as well, so run all three. See what they turns up.

A lot of items never bid on in the e-bay world have been listed with misspellings. I read an article about a guy that did nothing but misspell searches and bid and usually won because no one else found the items in their searches.
