auto pilot combatibility

I am wondering if my 10 year old Raymarine st 70 auto pilot display will work with the new Raymarine acu 200 auto pilot and ev 1 sensor core? I want to know if it would be a suitable spare. Thanks

Re: auto pilot combatibility

According to page 12 of the Raymarine installation manual the answer is yes with "limited functionality" and connected via SeatalkNG.

No, the ST70 is a SeatalkNG instrument. It can directly swap out the P70 the convertor would be useless. You are thiinking of the older St4000/5000/6000 perhaps?
