Anyone know anything about this? Their website is pretty slim on details although I have found a 3rd party site with more info

Wondering if anyone knows if they have released dishes for portable use?

These are GEO satellites. That means the dish will probably be like the DirctTV dish which is a sub-meter dish as the system will be Ka (27GHz) Band. Mobile or maritime mobile will probably require some kind of tracking system.

More info at WIKI.

Re: Australia - Skymesh Sky Muster Sattelite Internet

We were with Skymesh for a few years down here on the campo, currently with IPStar.
Fixed dish maybe 2 foot diam on the roof which works good. Dish is small enough to be land portable on a motor home. The installer had some sort of signal strength meter that he used to align it, seemed simple enough.

Dunno if it would work on a yacht unless in a marina.

No idea about the spot beam stuff, all I know is if I go -lets say - big box shopping it always gives me the nearest store to Darlinghurst, N.S.W.

Qantas planes have access to it. No plans to make it available for mobile use for anyone else that I have been able to find.
