AIS monitor on smartwatch

I would like to know if there is a solution to receive AIS signal tru wifi or bt, generated onboard by the AIS receiver, on an Android or IOS SMARTPHONE.
My AIS receiver is ina Raspberry pi and I boradcast its signal NMEA converted, by wifi. Currently in use, OpenCPN instaled on mobiles and tables receive the AIS info , that´s ok, but for sleep alarms for the solo sailor, the smatphone watch should be the ideal solution, running 24h with very low energy consumption.

Welcome aboard the forum, NeivaBR. Hopefully an electronics guru will finish his/her coffee soon and come to your aid.

Re: AIS monitor on smartwatch

Technically of course it’s possible. Just needs someone to write a chunk of code.

Or... integrate a very loud alarm into the current setup.

It might be a more simple path to your desired outcome.
