There's a Juju Factor at play in the world, and it's often better to not look under yer berth late at night ... but the name rhymed with the famous Austrian composer Franz Schubert.
A pal o mine, the kind of guy that would help a cantankerous crone across a busy road, and not just to cop a feel, met him along his southward passage and relayed to me that he was just as weirdly, and rotundly bizarre as his posts suggested.
On a more joyful note, I stumbled upon a thread over on another forum wherein the subject was about being banned from CF. In spite of the not-to-be-named-title, several posters claimed to not even have heard of CF. Oh, the pathos ....

Re: Your Ignore List
Cheoah, I also remember reading his posts since I too own a Tayana. His handle and boat name is Union Pacific and several months ago came to the owners group forum asking about ways to beef up his Tayana to make a circumnavigation of the Americas. There was little response to his posting although I did mention that Matt Rutherford made the same journey from Annapolis 2 years ago in a much smaller boat singlehanded and non stop and would be a good person to talk to.

About soiled myself, that's hilarious. I haven't gotten to that point with a forum yet, but today at the farm I will reach for the ignore button at least twice. Maybe my real life has hardened me to the members here.

I am retired and cruising. I certainly don't need stress from peanuts so I use the ignore button on the obvious ones. Though it would be a better forum if they were booted.
I do use the ignore button on some whom I just plain disagree with. I dont mind them staying, but just don't like reading their posts.
If some people have me on ignore I don't mind. It is makes their forum experience better then go for it.

Re: Your Ignore List
I think an improvement on the ignore list function can be made. If you put someone on your list you should automatically be added to their list. This way they wouldn't keep quoting you thinking they we being all witty in their effort to piss you off.

Now where would be the fun in that. Really it takes no effort at all to upset some around here...
I never use ignore anyway. Why miss out on all the entertainment.

And why would you think anyone does that? After all, if you can't see their posts, what makes you think they're quoting you?

Just my always-ever-so-humble opinion, Don, but it appears SC's very benign comment did irritate you although we all know that was not her intention. And no one could deny the TRUTH in her comment.
Certain posters seem ready to pounce on every little thing, and really, are as predictable as the tides.

Re: Your Ignore List
I think sailor chick and boy probably get a room.
Preferably one with lots of crockery (and no knives) so they can start their love affair with a good 'ol bit of domestic violence. The winner plants the first kiss.

What, No knives, However will I get my point across.
I think Don's just a little envious that a crazy cat lady hippie chick sails more then he does. Mind you I've its only 60 miles this week.

Re: Your Ignore List
Don would not be quoted so much if he didn't say so many funny things. He is very original but then he has to be, he sails a Hunter. I sympathize, I am one of the few on CF with a woody.
