Yacht Wear: Anybody Dress Like This?

There are companies selling yacht wear. Do anybody here actually dress like this at the docks? Who exactly dresses like this on their boats?

I aspire to that but am usually in stained oilskins or well worn bathing suits and t shirts...

Either you are as old as I am or a real fan of ancient reruns.

Can't imagine what those outfits would look like after a day sanding bottom paint.

Re: Yacht Wear: Anybody Dress Like This?

Wallace! Great pic!

And if anyone is interested in a real answer to Zamber's question, the only time I pull out the "No. 1s" (Navy blue jacket, white collared shirt and khaki skirt/pants) is Sailpast and when visiting other yacht clubs - especially those YCs in other countries where I'm uncertain of Club etiquette and don't want to inadvertently offend.

Other than that, I would just call those original pics poncy.

All that's missing is the proper sailor's hat with CAPTAIN, or FIRST MATE, or ADMIRAL scrawled across the top .
