Can you imagine life, without clean
water, to drink?
For millions of people, it's a daily reality.
Almost 1 in 10 people don't have clean
water, close to home.
When people have access to clean water, a decent
toilet, and can practice good hygiene, they’re less likely to get sick.

World Rivers Day: Thunder Bay. Ontario
Volunteers in Thunder Bay are being asked to roll up their sleeves Sunday for a historic effort to clean up the shores of
Lake Superior — part of the first-ever
Great Lakes Coastal Cleanup, coinciding with World Rivers Day.
The City of Thunder Bay and environmental non-profit EcoSuperior are hosting the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET at Lorne Allard Fisherman's Park.
The cleanup will also include an underwater effort, by EcoDivers Thunder Bay, at the Fisherman's Park docks.
A free shuttle bus will leave the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium at 10:45 a.m. and return from the park at 2 p.m. A bike valet
service will also be available.
The northwestern city is one of six
Ontario communities participating, along with Chatham-Kent, Cobourg, Collingwood, Kingston, and Owen Sound.
