Which Docks Are Which in Ensenada ?

Hi - can anyone help me figuring out which docks are which in Ensenada's harbor? The only definite ones I know are Marina Baja Fiesta, and Baja Naval, as per their website. I've heard that Sergio's, Bandido's, Chuey's, Gordo's, and Juanito's are there, but where? I've attached a picture for reference. thanks!

Re: Which docks are which in Ensenada??

I would have labeled your Marina Baja Fiesta as Sergio's; unfortunately it has been too many years to remember in what order the marinas occur as you go east - a semi-recollection is that Bandido's is in the middle. They are all a few yards from each other - does it much matter which is which? The far away ones are Cruiseport - further along in the harbor - and Coral, about 4 miles north...
Edit: upon further reflection - and Google Earth - Sergio's is the first marina east from your labeled Baja Fiesta...

Sergio's is the next one to the right of Baja's Fiesta.

If you are going there you will be able to see the restaurant signs, on the buildings, from the harbor. The slips are run by the different restaurants and they front the slips. I think Chuey's is to the left but can't remember for sure.

If you can spare a few extra dollars, Cruiseport Marina is a much better place.

A friend was complaining that recently the docks in the harbor are very loud (as some music is being blared out of a disco), as well as the surge is strong,... and to cap it off, the sea lions are a bit too close for comfort...

Cruiseport is much better, no surge, quieter..

Good luck

Used to say "Catch the surge at Sergio's..." Probably still true - for the whole harbor (altho may be less at Cruiseport)... Take lots of good fenders; I used Taylor's with the lifetime warranty, just had to take them back to a West Marine for replacement, no questions asked...

Cruiseport is the first berthage on your starboard after you make the turn around the breakwater, can't miss it, should be a big cruise ship there! Then comes Baja Naval next to the square with the large Mexican flag pole in the middle. The rest are just a short way, maybe 100 meters, up the harbor on your right.
Marina Coral is a hotel complex just north of the city, nice marina but call ahead for reservations. Marina tenants have complete access to the marina amenities.
Anchoring in the harbor is no longer permitted from what I understand, ground is pretty foul at any rate.
Ensenada is one of my favorite towns but stay out of the south end as it is a haven for LA gangbangers hiding out from the US authorities... Capt Phil

thanks everyone for the feedback - I'm doing a research project for my Log. Class - so that's why I was looking to correctly label the docks
